Its amazing how much you feel you have a grasp on certain key theories when you start off doing a PhD and the surprise at when you find out how much there still is to learn.
This is especially true when you need to present something coherent to supervisors as I have been working on this month!
Great to see the visual output my urban design student's at the Art School are capable of! Teaching isn't always easy, but can be very rewarding when the class comes together.
Feels great to graduate with my MRes in Urban Research, plain packages hide big things!
Still here, but the reading list keeps getting longer.....
That point at the start of your PhD when you realize you need to start reading more in depth as well as breadth....
Starting to get my ideas together...
So, after a break for a few weeks to get settled into my new office and prepare for my teaching commitments, I will again be updating this blog with news from my project. It feels good to be starting on the road to PhD, so watch this space!
